James Costine

James joined SV in 2018 as a Finance Partner to head up all European finance operations. He focuses on all aspects of the Trust’s administration as well as providing the wider, London-based SV team with support for their investments in the six diversified SVLS Funds, the Dementia Discovery Fund and the SV7 Impact Medicine Fund.

Prior to SV, James qualified as a Chartered Accountant at RSM (Johannesburg) before relocating back to the UK. He has spent the past 12 years in the London investment management industry across various sectors specializing in finance and operations.

James holds a B. Comm (Honours) Accounting, RAU; Executive MBA (Distinction), CASS Business School and is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa); ACMA, CGMA.
