DIRECTORATE CHANGE

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.11R the Board of International Biotechnology Trust plc announces that Mr Alan Clifton will be retiring as the Chairman of the Board and as a Director of the Company at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting to be held on Tuesday, 12 December 2017. Further, Mr John Aston, an existing Director of the Company, will succeed him as Chairman of the Board immediately following his retirement.
